Earthquakes cannot be predicted. What matters is how quickly and clearly you learn about them. That is the whole job of this app.
LIVE MULTI-SOURCE FEED
Real-time earthquakes from six official networks, merged and deduplicated with full source attribution. Search by region, filter by magnitude and time period, and see significant events separated from the background noise. If one network is down, the others keep reporting.
WORLDWIDE MAP
Explore every event on an interactive map. Tap any earthquake for magnitude, depth, distance from you, and estimated shaking intensity - clearly labeled estimates derived from official data, never predictions.
CUSTOM ALERT RULES
Choose the minimum magnitude and distance you care about and let automatic background checks watch the feeds for you. A magnitude 6 on the other side of the world and a magnitude 4 near your home are not the same event - your rules decide what is worth a notification. A built-in test alert shows you exactly what delivery looks like, and Notification Health in Settings shows whether alerts are actually working.
WATCHED PLACES
Save the places that matter - home, a parent's city, a child's school - and see a dedicated impact card for each one after every significant event: distance, expected shaking, and how the event was revised over time.
STATISTICS AND TRENDS
Charts of recent activity by magnitude, depth, and region, so you can tell an unusual week from an ordinary one.

Guardian is offered as an annual plan with a 7-day free trial for eligible users, or a monthly plan. Exact prices are always shown in the app before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. The free tier stays genuinely useful - live feed, map, alerts, one watched place, and the safety guide are free forever, with the same reliability as Guardian.

Earthquake Network has been rebuilt around live multi-source monitoring: a real-time feed merging six official networks (USGS, EMSC, AFAD, Kandilli, INGV, GeoNet), a worldwide map, custom alert rules with background checks, watched places with per-place impact cards, statistics, and an offline safety guide. The optional Guardian subscription adds up to 10 watched places, the long-term Historical Explorer, and Family Sharing.
