The sample store has been rebuilt. Library descriptions now show their formatting, headings and images instead of a block of plain text, and the detail view is a proper full-screen sheet with the description on its own page. The browse screen has a Login and Logout button, scrolling no longer opens a library by accident, and libraries you have bought or been granted are no longer treated as Patreon-exclusive. Playback is better in several ways: looped samples no longer buzz when played above their root note, slow pitch bends and pitch LFOs are smooth rather than stepping, opposing pan settings no longer cancel to silence, and release samples play correctly when a key is held. Loading is faster and steadier too, with a number of crashes fixed around loading presets, closing sessions and a damaged library index. The volume control at the top is now yours rather than the preset author's, starting at 0.00 dB whatever the preset was authored at. Tunings and the window size are saved with your session. The preset editor gains oscillators, including drawbars, a formant waveform, FM controls and DX7 sysex import. For preset authors there are new options for menus, labels and sliders, and the plugin now tells you when a preset contains something it cannot use. All of it is in the Developer's Guide.

Hear before you buy. Sample libraries in the store can now include demo tracks, so you can listen to what a library actually sounds like right inside Decent Sampler, before downloading anything. Find things faster. There's a new FILTER button in the library browser: narrow the list down to titles you already own, or browse everything from a single publisher. Free trials, tidied up. A library that offers a free trial now appears as one listing with a toggle between the trial and the full version, instead of two separate entries competing for space. A better-behaved keyboard. The on-screen keyboard now takes keyswitches and MIDI note ranges into account when it decides where to center itself, so it lands somewhere sensible more often. For preset builders: - Bindings can target individual samples and oscillators by tag, not just whole groups - Button state bindings work with tags too, not only control indexes - New GLIDE_MODE binding, so you can switch glide between off, always and legato from your own interface - New centerNote attribute on the keyboard element, to override auto-centering yourself - New customSkinHoverImage for custom-skin knobs - Knobs now honor disabledOpacity, matching how buttons already behaved Fixes: - A binding aimed at a group tag only affected the first matching group.
