Choose the voice, set the speed and pitch, and pick up where you left off. - With Pro, it becomes a full Table Read: every character gets their own voice. Fine-tune each one, or mute a part and read it yourself while the app pauses for your lines. - PDFs exported on the free plan now include a small Scenarist credit line at the bottom of each page. Read Aloud is now a proper table read. CAST YOUR SCRIPT Every character gets its own voice. Open the Cast sheet to hear any voice before you assign it, choose from voices grouped by gender, and fine-tune pitch and speed per character so no two parts sound alike. Your casting is saved with the script. REHEARSE YOUR PART Mute a character and Scenarist reads every part except that one — it announces the cue, then holds a silent beat sized to the line so you have room to read it aloud. Tap Next when you're done. NARRATOR Choose the voice that reads scene headings, action and character cues. Scenarist now speaks Italian and German. The entire interface — every menu, button, sheet and error message — is translated, using the right screenwriting vocabulary in each language. Also in this update: • Draft names in Revision Tracking now follow your language instead of staying in English • Fixed a number of labels across Settings, the shortcuts list and the export sheets that were stuck in English • Word and page counts now use the correct plural forms

HOSPITAL CORRIDOR - DAY. - Parentheticals get their brackets automatically, so they export correctly to PDF, Final Draft and Fountain. - Autocomplete suggestions show in full instead of being cut off — you can tell DAY from NIGHT at a glance. - Autocomplete no longer saves half-typed scene headings as locations, so your suggestion list stays clean. - Dictated scene headings format correctly when speech recognition adds its own punctuation. - Character extensions by voice: say "character John off screen" to get JOHN (O.S.).
