I've been a My Subs subscriber from start. Now forced to read the the magazines and newspapers on Netwerk24 and very disappointed. I've upgraded Netwerk24 on May 22 and since have no access to Netwerk24. As, for years now a paying subscriber to Netwerk24, contacted Netwerk24 but it was unsuccessful. It is a big frustration as it is lockdown level 4 and nothing to read! What a disaster!

App crashes every few months and does not allow me to sign-in, no matter what. (You want me to call a call centre to troubleshoot an app???) Only way to resolve is to cancel subscription and delete app. Content often have typos and bad language construction. Your comments on news are often only placed the next day making it irrelevant. If a comment is not placed due to the comments policy no feedback is given as to how you have breached the policy. Contains a high number of adverts and sponsered content for a relative expensive subscription news app. New news is often placed in the feed at the bottom, forcing you to keep on scrolling. App does not (like other international news apps) limit the landing page to a set number of reports, forcing you to scroll into ‘old’ news. This means you spend a lot of wasted time on this app looking for new news.

Greatly improved app, terrible at notifications

The navigation in the app has improved from the frustrating older versions, but app push notifications are still broken. I receive ALL notifications even though certain types of notifications are turned off in the app settings. Gave feedback through the app and the customer care consultant told me first that they’ll unsubscribe me from all emails, and then re-explaining my problem told me how to turn off ALL notifications on my phone. Gave up. Will see how long I can stand the constant feed of push notifications of stories I don’t care about before I unsubscribe.

After reading our subscriptions on the “mysubs” app for months and loving it - and now being forced to read it via the Netwerk24 app, I want to pull my hair out every day. What used to be a pleasure is now an absolute pain. Loved the fact I could download and read later, could go straight back to where I left off and no issues with paging, zooming in (the new app is a disaster!!!) and freezing. I ask myself why change what was perfect to an app that is clearly not user friendly and needs loads of work. PLEASE get help in getting this app to the standard we were used to - surely you can see the difference? Very disappointed.
