\nEarlier this month the University of Sydney\u00a0launched an investigation<\/a>\u00a0into allegations miniature spy cameras were used to record and distribute exam content online.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the UK\u2019s national examinations regulator\u00a0warned<\/a>\u00a0smart glasses, smartwatches and concealed earpieces are emerging threats for unis.<\/p>\n

Chief regulator of qualifications Sir Ian Bauckham noted technology was \u201cchanging fast\u201d:<\/p>\n

There are smartwatches that we are increasingly seeing on young people and they are fully internet connected [\u2026] And I understand that in the pipeline there are even things like smart glasses [\u2026]<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
