THE SKY IS THE PAGE A spot opens on its sky — the hour's light, cloud and sea, or your photo. The read follows, then your sports, then the numbers. THE SHUTTLE A glass slider moves the hour. Drag from the centre, hold at the edge to keep rolling, let go and it springs back. Sky, cards, numbers and read move together. HOME LEARNS THE HOUR The same shuttle sits in the map's bar. Move it and your pins re-rate along the coast, the front card follows, and the wind map turns with it. THE CARD IS THE SPOT The front card wears its spot's sky. Tap it and the spot opens out of the card, already on your hour. WIND YOU CAN READ Arrows are as long as the wind is strong, and turn as the hour moves. The sea's are drawn full, the land's faint. YOUR COAST, ABOVE THE BAR Open the app and the spots nearest you are read for you: which sport, where, when, and whether you're free — your own brief first when it matches. Also: Pro alerts now look three days out; place search follows the map; watch complications open their spot; Retry retries at once; pins wear their best sport; the forecast section is "Charts".

THE WEEK AHEAD The day reel and the charts now run seven days out with Pro. Pick a day in Spots to Check and the spot opens on it. A FORTNIGHT OF TIDE Two weeks of tide, the second from the astronomy — so a chart never runs out of tide two days after you looked. CALM WATER, THIS TIME FOR REAL Last time we said sheltered water would decline the open coast's swell. Some of it didn't, so we have improved that. UNFOLDS On an unfolded iPhone a spot floats beside the map instead of covering it. Tap another pin and it changes subject where it is. ON iOS 27 "Search Fistral in Session Scout" works from Siri, which now knows which spot is on screen. The bar tucks away as you scroll a forecast, long names no longer hide the star, and the icon is drawn in Liquid Glass. Also: the chart header names its range, and the app asks for a review once per version, not once per build.

CHECK MY CALENDAR Session Scout knew when the water was worth a look. Now it knows whether you can go. Turn it on in Settings and every window reads Free, or Busy until your day clears — on the planner, your cards, Get There, your watch and Siri. Times only. Nothing written, nothing sent. SHARE A SPOT, AND IT OPENS One picture: that hour's sky and sea, the place, the wind and the shore it crosses. Every card carries a link that opens the app at that spot, at that hour. LEAD WITH MY BRIEF Let your own wind, swell and tide take the headline. The rating steps down a line, never away — and takes it back on an hour it reads as Not suitable. CALM WATER READS AS CALM WATER Sheltered spots no longer borrow the open coast's swell. Also: one notification for several windows, a start time on calendar invites, and widgets that open their own spot.
