Louise Taylor

Dr Louise Taylor is an Independent Researcher and therapist committed to working with activists and communities to highlight the importance of mental health, wellness, and equity in the struggle for environmental and climate justice. She is passionate about supporting communities on the frontline of environmental struggles and in geopolitical sacrifice zones. She is engaged in the Lough Neagh and the Save Our Sperrins grassroots campaigns in the North of Ireland. Her works uses an Intersectional Ecofeminist and culturally critical perspective to explore the intersections between public and environmental health and wellness in a time of climate chaos. She is particularly interested in ecological illnesses, sacrifice zone communities, colonialism and activism and action as a way of reclaiming individual and community health in a time of climate and ecological breakdown.
