Adam Meyer is an ecosystem ecologist and educator based in St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador. Adam does field studies and creates mathematical models to understand the diverse roles of animals in ecosystems, focusing on how animal movement is shaped by - and shapes - ecosystem functioning. His research spans the ecology of zooplankton, pollinators, and relationships among large herbivores (like moose), soil microbes, and nitrogen cycling. This work can help improve ecosystem-based management such as restoration, rewilding, and conservation.
