Research Associate at the Centre for Science and Security Studies at King's College London with an unhealthy obsession regarding the impact of the internet and digital technologies on strategic and human security.

Undergraduate degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of East Anglia Norwich, MSc and PhD from Royal Holloway, University of London. Doctoral thesis examining the methods of cyber capability norms and their construction by state and non-state actors.

Currently research interests include cyber-security in broad terms with specific attention to the growing role of industry in international norm setting, disinformation warfare and information operations, artificial intelligence and lethal autonomous weapons systems and, multi-stakeholder approaches to stability in cyberspace.

Religiously re-reads Tolkein for fun.
