Amélie Cloutier

Amélie Cloutier has been a professor in the Department of Strategy, Social and Environmental Responsibility at ESG UQÀM since June 2020. Previously, she taught strategy and innovation management at Université Laval and Université du Québec à Rimouski (Lévis campus). She is the scientific director of the Transat Chair in Tourism at ESG UQÀM. She holds an MBA in management and a Ph.D. in administrative sciences (management) from Université Laval.

Her research focuses primarily on innovation, collaboration, strategy, and leadership. Her publications, in both French and English, appear in scientific journals, collective works, and are presented at numerous national and international conferences.

Among the journals where her work has been published are the Journal of Ecotourism, the Journal of Management Inquiry, the International Journal of Innovation Management, Managing Sport and Leisure, the Journal of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, and the International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Before joining academia, she gained corporate experience as a competitive intelligence advisor within the strategy team at Desjardins General Insurance Group and TD Insurance.
