Dr Amy Boyle is a Lecturer in Film Studies at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. Amy's research is interested in the potential of television, screen media and popular culture for purposes of social transformation. Amy has published in academic journals including Television & New Media, Feminist Media Studies and Signs, and her book, Popular Feminist Television, is forthcoming with Routledge (2026).
