Dr Andrew Crossland FEI is a specialist in the social, technical and economic modelling of energy systems and won the "Rising Star" Award from Energy UK recognising some of his work in the rapidly changing electricity system.
He is employed in industry working across multiple organisations in specialist and advisory roles. He has delivered energy projects across four continents and in 10 countries - including world firsts such as the first utility scale battery in New Zealand and some of the first behind the meter batteries in the UK.
He founded and runs the platform MyGridGB and is due to release his first book "Decarbonising Electricity Made Simple" in June 2019. Andrew is on the Advisory Board of the Durham Energy Institute.
