Andrew Reinmann

My background is in forest ecology, biogeochemistry and carbon cycling dynamics. In particular, I am interested in understanding how changes in climate, urbanization, and forest fragmentation alter forest growth, sensitivity to environmental stress, and carbon fluxes. I have an MS in forestry from the University of Maine, a PhD in Biology with a certificate in Biogeosciences from Boston University, did post-doctoral research at Boston University and am currently an assistant professor in the Environmental Sciences Initiative at the Advanced Science Research Center of the Graduate Center, CUNY and in the Geography Department at Hunter College.
