Angel Ezquerra

Prof. Ezquerra is senior lecturer, and he teaches Science Education at different levels (pre-service teacher training in Primary Education Degree and Master in Secondary Education teacher training). He has supervised 4 doctoral theses and more than 50 final Degree and Master projects, and he is awarded for twelve years of international-quality research. Prof. Ezquerra has an extensive list of publications about scientific literacy, neuroeducation and the uses of media in teacher training. He has published more than 70 articles, books and chapters of books. He has participated in more than 80 Conferences in 7 different countries, Prof. Ezquerra has participated in 4 R+T+I Projects funded being the director of two, and in 10 innovative Teaching Projects, being the director of 5. He has also participated in the Plan on the National Strategy for Lifelong Learning, Spanish Ministry of Education, 2009, Madrid. He was also a scientific adviser for the television programme BRAINIAC (Notro Films 2007-2008), which was followed by 205,000 - 724,000 viewers.
Currently, he is the Director of the research group Neurodidactics, Science and Society (https://ncs.ucm.es/en/) and holds the TERMOSENSEMETRO (Spanish Patent No. ES U 202230444, 2020), a device for measuring of thermal sensation in education. Besides, he is member of European Science Education Research Association (ESERA), member of Royal Spanish Physics Society (RSEF), member and Chair of Spanish Association of Teachers and Researchers in Didactics of Experimental Sciences (APICE).
