Professor Anne Kavanagh was Chair of Disability and Health at the University of Melbourne between 2018 and 2026. Between 2004-2008 she was Associate Professor of Women's Health and was Chair and Professor of Women's Health between 2008 and 2018.

Anne is a social epidemiologist with an international reputation in health inequalities research having led major programs of work on disability and health; gender and health; and place and health.
