Dr Ashwin Dhanda is an Associate Professor of Hepatology at the University of Plymouth and Honorary Consultant Hepatologist at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust where he is lead for alcohol services. His research and clinical interests are in alcohol-related liver disease. He leads a research programme investigating immune biomarkers of alcohol-related liver disease and methods to reduce alcohol-related harm through psychological therapy.
