I am a Political Scientist and have been teaching since 2005. Presently, I am a Senior researcher in Development Studies and engage with issues of Governance, conflicts and Political Development. My geographical focus is Sub-Saharan-Africa especially the Sahel region. My recent articles have appeared in Third World Quarterly, African Security Review and Small Wards and Insurgencies.
