Beverlie Dietze

Dr. Beverlie Dietze is a part-time faculty in the Department of Education at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, NS. She currently teaches courses related to Literacy and Outdoor and Place-Based Literacy Learning. Her current research interests include outdoor and land-based learning and pedagogical documentation.

Beverlie has written or co-written several textbooks on early chilhdood education topics that are used in colleges and universities across Caanda.

Beverlie is the Editor-in-Chief and publisher of the Canadian Play Outdoors magazine. She consutts nationally on outdoor and land-based pedagogy.

Dr. Dietze holds a PhD from the University of Toronto, a Masters of Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University and a Bachelor of Education from UNB. She is also a graduate of Sheridan College.
