Carmen da Silva

My research focuses on understanding the impact of climate change on insect pollinators (native bees and butterflies). Can they evolve fast enough to keep pace with climate change? How will they shift their geographic ranges? Can they respond to rapid climate change in their lifetime using phenotypic plasticity?

I completed my PhD on climate adaptation at The University of Queensland. Since then I have worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Monash University and now I am on an early career research fellowship at Macquarie University.
