Carole Haswell

I am Professor of Astrophysics and Deputy Head of the School of Physical Sciences within the STEM Faculty at The Open University. I was an STFC Research Council Public Engagement Leadership Fellow, and my outreach work focusses on low social capital audiences on Teesside.

Research Group:
I have a PhD student and an STFC-funded postdoc, John Barnes. Our main research focus is on mass-losing hot exoplanets through the Dispersed Matter Planet Project which I lead.
