PhD begun (part time) 2022 - Working title: "Lower than vermin? A rhetorical political analysis of invective in parliament 1971 - 2024"
Inquiry into continuities and changes to the rhetoric of politicians. Motivated by perceptions that political language is less civil than in the past and political actors, essentially ruder than some time in the past. Although this past when politics was more polite seems illusionary.
