Claudio Açaí Bracho-Estévanez

Environmental biologist with a PhD from the University of Cádiz and currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Córdoba, broadly interested in spatial and global change ecology. My research investigates how changes in land use and climate affect the distribution of biodiversity, with a particular focus on long-distance seed dispersal, biological invasions, and the potential of frugivorous animals to support nature conservation and the restoration of degraded ecosystems. My work combines field research and experimental design with advanced statistical modelling and geospatial analysis to understand and predict how ecological communities respond to global change.
