Clint Hansen

Dr Clint J. Hansen is a Yiman/Iman Countryman an Research Fellow at Monash University whose research integrates Indigenous Knowledge Systems with hydrogeological science to advance cultural water justice. His work examines the impacts of extractive industries, mine-water legacies, and groundwater governance on Indigenous lands and waters across Central Queensland and the Great Artesian Basin. Clint is the creator of the WaterBlack framework, an Indigenous-led model for regenerative water governance. He collaborates widely with Traditional Owner groups, regulators, and researchers to support Indigenous-led monitoring programs, cultural flow assessments, and policy reform.
