David Adeyeye

Dr David Adeyeye is a Deputy Director and Head, Planning, Programming and Linkages Department at the National Centre for Technology Management, a Nigerian government agency responsible for policy research and capacity building on issues of science, technology, and innovation (STI) management.

His primary responsibilities focus on strategic planning and collaboration, monitoring, evaluation and learning as well as policy formulation, implementation and review. For close two decades, he has led the team that collects STI indicators in Nigeria, a subset of the African Science, Technology, and Innovation Indicators (ASTII) Initiative of the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD).

He holds a doctoral degree in Science and Technology Studies at the Centre for Research on Evaluation, Science and Technology (CREST) at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. His research interests focus on innovation for inclusive development, R&D and innovation measurement, and STI for policy and development.
