David Taylor

David Taylor is currently Provost’s Chair Professor and Professor of Tropical Environmental Change in the Department of Geography at National University of Singapore, which he has also served as Head of Department since August 2019. Previously (2001-2012) David held the Professorship (College Chair) in Geography at Trinity College, University of Dublin (TCD), Ireland. He also served as Head of Department of Geography and Head of School of Natural Sciences at TCD from 2001 through to 2009. David’s main current research interests centre on the human dimensions of relatively recent environmental changes in the tropics along three main lines: carbon, governance and pollution.
