David Voas

I am Emeritus Professor of Social Science at University College London (UCL), which generally appears in the top 20 in lists of global universities. I led the UCL Social Research Institute from 2016 to 2020. My research is mainly concerned with religious change in modern societies, based on quantitative analysis of large survey datasets. I have served on the councils of the leading scientific societies in this field and on the editorial boards of key journals. I have published in the most selective sociology journals, including the American Sociological Review, the American Journal of Sociology, the Annual Review of Sociology, and Social Forces.
