Deborah de Lange

My background entails broad industry experience having worked many years in large and small organizations i.e., electrical engineering at Ontario Hydro and IBM/Celestica; work in finance/accounting; strategy consulting at CGEY and Harrison Associates (banking, pharma, retail, etc.). A PhD in strategic management at the University of Toronto led to academia. I have three academic books and many articles, cases, and chapter publications. My research in sustainable development focuses on topics addressing the environment and climate change such as the circular economy, divestment of fossil fuels, sustainable urban/corporate/international governance, and clean tech entrepreneurship and its financing, including clean energy and sustainable transportation technologies.
