I am a nurse researcher at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Nursing. My program of research has been focused on the lived experience of patients with chronic diseases, and how we can adjust our care models to support patients in their disease management. I have had multiple scholarly publications and presentations on the topics of health disparities, symptom burden, treatment adherence, patient self-management, and lived experience with chronic disease.
