Elise Schubert is a registered pharmacist at Royal North Shore Hospital and a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney. Elise graduated from a Bachelor of Pharmacy with First Class Honours in 2018 at the University of Sydney, where she published her research on a potential Alzheimer’s disease treatment. Having almost 10 years experience in the field, Elise has worked in community, compounding and hospital pharmacy settings. Now, her current postgraduate studies are focused on medicinal cannabis clinical research, and in particular, the potential for its use in chronic pain conditions.
