Dr. Sawchuk is the Curator of Human Evolution at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. She is also Adjunct Professor with the University of Alberta and Case Western Reserve University, a Research Assistant Professor with Stony Brook University, and a Research Associate with the Turkana Basin Institute in Kenya. She is a bioarchaeologist whose research focuses on Africa.
