Enrique A. Mundaca Ortega

My research interests focus mainly on insect ecology. Some of my research questions relate to how the structure of the habitat surrounding the host plant influences the abundance and spatial distribution of insects. In addition, I have also investigated the taxonomy of Lepidoptera of species associated with native Chilean flora, urban environments, and wetlands. I´m currently exploring the areas of sustainability, human-nature relationship, and insect biogeography in arid systems.
