I am a postgraduate researcher at Lancaster University focusing on constitutional monarchy. My PhD thesis is entitled 'Can the Dignity of a Constitutional Monarchy in the UK Survive its Undignified Privileges?' It examines constitutional privileges and entitlements enjoyed by the monarchy by virtue of their constitutional position, and the extent to which these can be justified today.
