Fraser Allison is a research fellow in the Human-Computer Interaction group at the University of Melbourne. He studies the design and user experience of technologies for leisure and commemoration, with a focus on natural user interfaces and how people draw meaning from technologically mediated activities, particularly in regards to "negative" emotions. His doctoral research concerns the design and usage of voice-operated videogames.
