Frédérique Viard is a senior scientist at CNRS. Her field of research is in ecology and evolutionary biology in coastal marine ecosystems. She has a particular scientific expertise in the field of biological invasions studies (pathways, acclimation, adaptation etc.). She is also a member of national and international expert groups working on non-indigenous species (e.g., national group for MSFD) and has been a Lead Author for the IPBES ECA regional assessment.
