Grace is currently a member of teaching staff in the School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Leeds.

Previously, Grace had multiple postdoctoral research positions including researching Hepatitis C virus at the University of Leeds and various respiratory viruses (including RSV and SARS-CoV-2) at Queens University, Belfast. Grace obtained her PhD at the University of Leeds in 2019, with the study of Chikungunya virus and its interactions with host cell immune pathways.
