Ecologist, specialising in modelling the impacts of environmental change on parasites and vectors for disease. My team and I develop machine learning and mathematical models to inform sustainable veterinary and conservation practices and policy.

The Vineer Lab research team works on ecological & epidemiological modelling. They develop machine learning and mathematical models to inform sustainable veterinary and conservation practices and policy.

The lab's current research programmes include studies of the parasite brainworm in reindeer, the risk of vector-borne diseases in the UK and tick-borne pathogens.
