I am currently a PhD student in Complex Systems and Data Science at the University of Vermont. I also serve as an Associate Fellow doing data research on the intersection of philanthropy and inequality for the Institute for Policy Studies. I have worked for over nearly three decades in and around the charitable sector and have written papers on nonprofit industry topics including donor-advised funds, private foundations, billionaire philanthropy, direct marketing fundraising, and the macroeconomic factors affecting donor behavior.
