Dr Helen Owton is a Senior Lecturer in Sport & Exercise Psychology working Part-Time at The Open University in the UK. Helen’s research specialisms lie in innovative qualitative and sensuous investigations of sporting embodiment.
She has published many journal articles, three books and numerous book chapters about her research.
Dr Owton completed her PhD in Sport and Health Sciences at the University of Exeter and she is a Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy.
