I have been a professor of agricultural economics at Ohio State University since 1990, having previously been at the University of Exeter in the UK. I currently hold the Andersons Chair of Agricultural Marketing, Trade and Policy, my teaching and research focusing mostly on issues relating to international trade and policy. Between 2002 and 2005, I was an editor of the American Journal of Agricultural Economics - the leading journal in the field.
