Iman Sta-Ali

I hold a BSc in Psychology and I’m currently a PhD candidate in Psychology at Université Laval under the supervision of Dr. Maya A. Yampolsky. My academic and professional journey has focused on understanding how racism and systems of oppression shape intimate relationships and mental health. I’ve worked in both public and private clinical settings, and I founded a mental health center offering community-based, decolonial approaches to healing. My research is grounded in the lived experiences of racialized individuals and aims to center their voices in conversations around care, identity, and resistance.
