Ineke van Herwijnen

Ineke van Herwijnen is assistant professor at Utrecht University, Division Animals in Science and Society, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, since April 2021, after having worked as director at the Royal Association for the Protection of Dogs in the Netherlands for more than a decade. In August 2020 she received her doctoral degree at Wageningen University and Research, Department of Animal Sciences, Behavioural Ecology Group, where she studied the human animal bond, more specifically dog-directed parenting styles.
