Isaac Abotebuno Akolgo, PhD is Research and Program Manager for the Africa Network of the International Development Economics Associates (IDEAs). He previously worked as Research Associate and Postddoc at the University of Bayreuth and Bard College Berlin, respectively. His research, which focuses on money, finance, and the political economy of development in Africa, is published in leading journals including Development and Change, the Review of International Political Economy, and the Review of African Political Economy
