My research expertise is in phylogenetics and phylodynamics related to bacterial & viral genomes. For the past 5 years I have focused on data visualisation and scientific communication in order to bring about actionable inferences from pathogen sequencing in outbreak situations.

I work in Trevor Bedford's lab, primarily on the open source science project Nextstrain (nextstrain.org)
