Jason Schaub’s has a degree in psychology and music from University of Redlands, in California, and an MSW with a concentration in Mental Health and Substance Abuse from University of Missouri, Kansas City.

He has been a qualified social worker for 15 years in the USA, the Republic of Ireland, and in England; working across both mental health and child protection sectors.

He is a registered social worker with the HCPC and a fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He has a background in research, with recent projects including: a community project exploring the alcohol and substance misuse experiences of LGBT people in East London; and several projects for local authorities investigating issues across children’s services.
