Jennie Gray

I am the Research Fellow for the Green AWARE project with Vikki Houlden and Anna Barker. Our goal is to uncover and address the barriers that prevent underserved communities from accessing and engaging with local greenspaces. By collaborating with individuals, interest groups, forums, and local governments, we aim to develop inclusive strategies that enhance accessibility and promote community inclusion.

I am interested in all things around the neighbourhood; how a neighbourhood changes, the sociodemographic processes (like gentrification) that drive these changes, the spatiotemporal properties of those cycles of change, and the inequalities that occur within a neighbourhood; those linked with neighbourhood change, or those like unequal access to greenspaces.
