Jérome Bourdon

After ten years as a researcher at the Institut National de l'Audiovisuel in Paris, I move to Tel Aviv University's Department of Communication in 1996, then back to Paris in 2024, where I am now associate researcher at the CARISM (Interdisciplinary Research Center on the Media), University Panthéon Assas. I research global television history (especially formats), collective memory and the media, international images of Israel-Palestine, and history of presence at a distance, from Ancient Letters to the Internet: this is the title of a book which will come out in French in 2026.
