Joanna Wilson

Dr Joanna Wilson is a Lecturer in the School of Sociology and Criminology at Manchester Metropolitan University. Prior to joining academia, she worked for 15 years in a senior management role in the professional services sector. This experience directly informs her research which seeks to address workplace inequalities with a particular focus on gender, parenthood and disability.

Joanna obtained her ESRC funded PhD (Social Statistics) and MSc (Social Research Methods and Statistics) from the University of Manchester, and her MSc (Human Resource Management) from the Manchester Metropolitan University Business School.
