João Paulo Albuquerque

João Paulo Albuquerque is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Manchester in the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Gastroenterology. He earned his PhD from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, specializing in neuroendocrinology and metabolism. Driven by a desire to deepen his expertise in neuroscience, he investigates how the brain integrates responses to homeostatic challenges. With support from the “British Society for Neuroendocrinology” (BSN), his research explores how the brain regulates immune responses in health and disease.
