I am a philosopher at the University of Exeter who works on issues in philosophy of mind and cognitive science. This includes topics related to embodied cognition, emotions, social cognition, psychopathology, loneliness, and human-AI interactions. I also have interests in Asian and comparative philosophy.

Lately, I've mainly been writing about philosophical issues raised by autism, as well as some ways people use AI companions for social and emotional purposes: to love, grieve, cope with loneliness, etc.
