John Strawson

John Strawson works in the areas of International Law and Middle East studies with particular interests in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Islamic law and Postcolonialism. He has held visiting position at the Institute for Social Studies (The Hague, Netherlands), and was a visiting professor at Birzeit University in Palestine (1996-2006) and visiting professor at the International Islamic University Malaysia in 2007. He is author of Partitioning Palestine: Legal Fundamentalism in the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict (2010), Editor of Law after Ground Zero (2002/2016) and co-editor of Injustice, Memory and Faith in Human Rights (2018). He is an advisory Editor of the journal, Fathom.
